Ed Warren

Edward Warren (1926-2006) was a World War II Navy veteran and former police officer who became self-taught, an expert in demonology, an author, and a lecturer. He married Lorraine Warren, with whom he became one of the most important investigators of paranormal phenomena. In 1952, the couple founded the New England Society for Psychical ResearchThe Ghostbusters, a group of ghost hunters. They wrote several books about the paranormal and their investigations into various cases of this kind. They were among the first investigators of the controversial Amityville haunted house case.
