Duarte Travanca

Duarte Travanca holds a degree in Economics from the University of Porto and a postgraduate degree in Taxation from ISAG. He has been an employee of the DGCI (General Directorate of Taxes) since 1999, currently working as a Tax Inspector in the Tax Inspection Services Directorate, as part of the civil construction team. In addition to speaking at seminars organized by the Institute for International Research on VAT, VAT fraud, and VAT in civil construction and real estate, he has also been a trainer for the Association of Registries and Notaries (ASOR) in collaboration with the Tax Workers' Union (STI) for employees of the General Directorate of Taxes since 2005. He is a contributor to the magazine of the Chamber of Official Accounting Technicians and is the author of several articles on VAT, IRS (Personal Income Tax), and IRC (Corporate Income Tax).
