A Dra. Odile Fernández é uma médica de família espanhola. Em 2010, foi-lhe diagnosticado um cancro nos ovários com múltiplas metástases. Após o choque inicial, começou a procurar toda a informação existente sobre a ligação entre o cancro e a alimentação que a pudesse ajudar neste processo.
Desde então, tem vindo a estudar a relação estreita entre alimentação, hábitos de vida e prevenção de doenças, e a ministrar workshops sobre o tema. Fruto desta experiência escreveu vários livros, entre os quais se destacam Guia Completo Anticancro (2015, Marcador) e A Minha Revolução Anticancro (2017, Planeta).
