Já depois de ter ultrapassado os 100 anos de idade, a Dr.ª Gladys McGarey continua a oferecer consultas de life coaching para ajudar os pacientes a conectarem-se com os seus médicos interiores. Reconhecida como pioneira nos movimentos da medicina alopática e holística, é embaixadora da Ordem Americana da Medicina Holística.
Foi cofundadora e presidente da Associação Americana da Medicina Holística (hoje conhecida como Academia de Saúde e Medicina Integrativa) e cofundadora da Academia de Parapsicologia e Medicina. A Dr.ª Gladys vive e trabalha em Scottsdale, Arizona, onde dividiu um consultório com a filha. Atualmente tem um consultório de life coaching, mantém uma dieta saudável e aprecia uma fatia de bolo de vez em quando.
