Donna J. Haraway

Donna J. Haraway é professora emérita de História da Consciência na Universidade de Santa Cruz, na Califórnia, e uma das mais reconhecidas investigadoras no cruzamento de ciência e tecnologia, zoologia e antropologia, estudos ambientais, estudos feministas, meios digitais e audiovisuais. Teórica proeminente, a sua produção académica é marcada pela diversidade e inovação, com incursões nas áreas da teoria política, da literatura, da filosofia e dos estudos de género. É autora de numerosas obras e ensaios pioneiros, dos quais se destacam Um Manifesto Ciborgue (1985), O Manifesto das Espécies de Companhia (2003) e Staying with the Trouble – Making Kin in the Chthulucene (2016).
