Don Campbell
Don Campbell was born in Texas, USA. He studied with Nadia Boulanger at the American Conservatory of Fontainebleau, France. Over the years, his need to understand the therapeutic power of sound and music has taken him to 40 countries, including Haiti, Russia, Israel, Greece, Tibet, Indonesia and Thailand, where he studied indigenous musical culture and taught children and young people.
He taught and gave concerts in most of Europe's capitals and lived in Japan for a few years, writing music criticism for a Tokyo newspaper. In 1988 he founded the Institute of Music, Health and Education. He is known for his frequent participation in television and radio programs. He lives in Boulder, Colorado, USA.
