David Nutt

David Nutt is an English neuropsychopharmacologist, one of the most renowned in the world, and a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Imperial College LondonHis research area is the effects of drugs on the brain, from two perspectives: how treatments with these substances work in psychiatry and neurology, and why people become addicted to some of them.
He is the founder and president of DrugScience, a non-profit organization that brings together drug experts to conduct groundbreaking research on drug effects and potential harms, free from political or commercial interference. In its The Drug Science Podcast It hosts world-renowned experts to discuss these topics.
He is the author of more than 30 books, among which stand out... Drugs Without Hot Air (2012), Drink? The New Science of Alcohol and Your Health (2020) and Cannabis (seeing through the smoke): The New Science of Cannabis and Your Health (2022).
