David Duchovny é quase o homem dos sete ofícios. Nasceu a 7 de agosto de 1960 em Nova Iorque, EUA, e é ator, escritor, produtor, realizador e compositor. Ficou conhecido por desempenhar o papel do agente FBI Fox Mulder em Ficheiros Secretos, e ainda pelo papel do escritor Hank Moody na série Californication - tendo sido já premiado inúmeras vezes. Participou, como escritor, produtor ou ator, noutras séries e filmes. Duchovny tem uma licenciatura em Literatura Inglesa da Universidade de Princeton e um mestrado em Literatura Inglesa da Universidade de Yale.
