Daniela Santiago é jornalista da RTP desde 1996 e, desde 2015, correspondente da televisão pública e da Antena 1 em Espanha. Atualmente é editora de Ambiente e Ação Climática na RTP. Mestre em Comunicação, Cultura e Tecnologias de Informação pelo ISCTE e especialista em Jornalismo pelo Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa, foi também docente na Escola Superior de Comunicação Social. Cobriu acontecimentos internacionais marcantes, foi repórter parlamentar, apresentadora na RTP3 e RTP2 e coapresentadora do programa Parlamento. Recebeu o 1.º Prémio de Jornalismo "Direitos Humanos e Integração" (ACIDI/UNESCO, 2008). É autora de três livros, incluindo o infantil O Caramelo da Leonor (também editado em braille).
