Psicólogo clínico e psicoterapeuta, é doutorado em Psicoterapia pela Wales University. É pro- fessor universitário no Ispa – Instituto Universitário (IU) e diretor da Clínica Ispa. Tem-se dedicado ao ensino, investigação e supervisão nas áreas da psicologia clínica e da psicoterapia. Autor de livros e artigos, nacionais e internacionais, no campo da psicoterapia. Membro fundador da Sociedade Portuguesa de Psicoterapia Existencial (SPPE), é também diretor da nova Especialização Avançada em Psicoterapia da Formação Ispa.
