D. Daniel Batalha Henriques

D. Daniel Batalha Henriques (1966-2022), natural de Santo Isidoro (Mafra), foi bispo auxiliar de Lisboa entre 2018 e 2022. Ordenado sacerdote em 1990, serviu como pároco diferentes comunidades do Patriarcado. Esteve particularmente envolvido na formação dos seminaristas da diocese em Almada e nos Olivais. Nomeado bispo auxiliar pelo Papa Francisco em outubro de 2018, tinha a seu cargo a região do Oeste e as comunidades de língua portuguesa no estrangeiro. Faleceu serenamente em novembro de 2022, vítima de doença oncológica prolongada, sendo recordado pela sua bondade e serviço à Igreja.
