Cristina Sánchez-Andrade nasceu em Santiago de Compostela, em 1968. Filha de mãe inglesa e pai galego licenciou-se em Ciências da Informação e em Direito. Na actualidade, colabora no Departamento de Cultura do Parlamento Europeu em Madrid e colabora regularmente com a imprensa regional galega como crítica literária. Os seus contos foram premiados e publicados em várias revistas. "As Lagartixas Cheiram e Erva" (Oficina do Livro) marcou a sua estreia literária. "Bois e Rosas Dormiam" é o seu segundo romance. Regressa, agora, com "Coco".
