Cristiana Lopes nasceu em 1989, é da Gafanha da Nazaré e é licenciada em Gestão pela Universidade de Aveiro. Foi diretora de Relações Internacionais na AIESEC Portugal e depois do seu mandato decidiu sair do país para fazer um estágio profissional pela mesma associação. Com 22 anos, chegou à Cidade do México para estagiar numa empresa durante um ano. Acabou por ficar cinco e trazer para Portugal um marido mexicano. Viveu em Lisboa durante um ano e voltou a emigrar em julho de 2018, desta vez para Madrid, onde reside atualmente. A paixão pelos livros, os desafios que viveu no México e a vontade de querer contar aos portugueses o que é ser emigrante motivaram-na a escrever o livro Millennials - Cidadãos do Mundo.
