Cressida Cowell grew up between London, England, and a small, uninhabited island in Scotland, where she was convinced there were dragons. Since then, she has been fascinated by them.
She has a degree in English Literature and another in Graphic Design, as well as a master's degree in Narrative Polishing. He wrote and drew twelve books in the collection How to Train Your Dragon, which is published in more than thirty languages and was adapted into a film. She is also the author of Caminhos Cruzados para Qualquer Lado, also published by Quiuí.
She lives in London with her husband and three children.
