Constanze v. Kitzing (Göttingen, 1980): Estudou ilustração na Universidade de Ciências Aplicadas de Hamburgo, na Escola de Arte e Desenho de Minneapolis nos EUA e na Universidade de Weimar (Bauhaus). Participa em oficinas criativas e a sua obra está publicada em várias editoras europeias. Para além de ilustradora, é também desenhadora da revista "Der Spiegel". A sua obra foi selecionada para a Feira Internacional do Livro Infantil e Juvenil de Bolonha, em 2010. Foi ainda distinguida com os prémios 3x3 Children's Show 2011 (EUA) e com o CJ Picture Book Award, em 2011 (Coreia).
