Conceição Dinis Tomé nascida em Vila Nova de Famalicão, em 1970, licenciou-se em Ensino de Português-Francês, na Universidade do Minho, e doutorou-se em Estudos Portugueses, na Universidade Aberta. É professora bibliotecária, investigadora e autora de livros infantojuvenis. Venceu o Prémio Literário Centro Cultural do Alto Minho, em 2009, e o Prémio Literário Maria Rosa Colaço, na categoria juvenil, em 2012. Da autora, a Editorial Presença publicou O Caderno do Avô Heinrich, distinguido com aquele prémio, e O Rapaz Que Voou Até ao Mar, o seu mais recente livro.
