Cláudia Viegas nasceu em Lisboa em 1976. Licenciada em Dietética e Nutrição pela Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde de Lisboa, trabalhou em Educação para a Saúde, Segurança Alimentar e Consulta Nutricional. É Mestre em Saúde Pública, pela Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública, na especialização de Promoção da Saúde, e Doutorada em Ciências da Vida pela Faculdade de Ciências Médicas. É docente na Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril, onde leciona cadeiras de Fisiologia Alimentar, Nutrição, Dietética e Saúde e Alimentação.
