Claire Faÿ começou a criar livros nos ateliers de tipografia da Academia das Belas-Artes de Praga. Diplomada em 2002 pela ESAG (Escola Superior de Artes Gráficas de Paris), e em 2003 pela ENSAD (Escola Nacional Superior de Artes Decorativas de Paris), Claire Faÿ é actualmente autora de várias obras ilustradas, das quais se destacam "Le grand livre du couchon" (Casterman, 2004), "Portraits de famille" (Paris Musées, 2005) e "Cahier de taches" (Paris Musées, 2005).
