Christine Coirault nasceu em França em 1964. É a mais nova de quatro filhos. Estudou Design Gráfico na Escola de Belas Artes em Orleães, França, e foi para Londres após terminar o curso, em 1987. Desde então, tem trabalhado como diretora artística para grandes empresas publicitárias. Começou a sua carreira de ilustradora há cerca de oito anos para contrabalançar o limitado universo da paginação. É autora e ilustradora de diversos livros infantis.
