Christian Kracht

Christian Kracht é um romancista suíço cuja obra foi traduzida para mais de 30 línguas. Nascido em Berna, formou-se no Sarah Lawrence College, em Nova Iorque. Entre os seus romances contam-se Faserland, 1979, Imperium — vencedor do Prémio Literário Wilhelm Raabe e incluído pela Publishers Weekly entre os dez melhores livros de 2015 — e, mais recentemente, The Dead, vencedor do Prémio do Livro Suíço e do Prémio Hermann Hesse.
Kracht trabalhou como jornalista para várias revistas e jornais na Alemanha, incluindo a Der Spiegel, além de ter sido escritor de viagens e argumentista. A sua obra foi adaptada para teatro e cinema.
Eurotrash integrou os nomeados do International Booker Prize 2025.
O autor vive atualmente em Zurique.
