Christian Gálvez nasceu em Madrid, em 1980. Licenciado em Filologia Inglesa, é um dos rostos da televisão espanhola, onde conduz com êxito um concurso cultural. É também diretor de uma produtora direcionada para potenciar o talento de jovens promessas.
Desde 2009, divide-se entre o trabalho em televisão e a investigação sobre Leonardo da Vinci, vivendo entre Madrid e a Toscana. É um dos mais conhecidos especialistas internacionais do artista. Além deste livro, é igualmente autor de Rezar por Miguel Ángel, Leonardo da Vinci: cara a cara, entre outros.
