Chris Wooding

He was born in Leicester, United Kingdom, in 1977. An early reader of C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, Orson Scott Card, and Terry Brooks, among many other science fiction and fantasy authors, he began writing at age 16 and was first published at 19. His work now amounts to about 20 books, most notably... The Mystery of Alaizabel Cray, already published in this collection and winner of the Silver Smarties Award. His books have been translated into several languages ​​including Russian, Japanese, Bulgarian, Slovenian, Indonesian, Portuguese and German.
