Céline Person nasceu em Nantes, em 1973. Estava destinada a ser professora de inglês, tendo passado três anos em Leeds com uma formação de educadora de crianças. Durante alguns meses mudou-se para um navio da Britanny Ferries. Depois voltou para Nantes e passou oito anos no serviço de operação do aeroporto. Hoje em dia dedica-se à escrita de histórias para crianças.
