Cathy Glass é o pseudónimo literário de uma mãe de acolhimento de nacionalidade britânica, que como autora tem tido uma presença constante nos lugares cimeiros das tabelas de vendas, desde que publicou Infância Perdida em 2007. A sua experiência de cerca de 25 anos, durante os quais trabalhou com uma centena de crianças em situações problemáticas, é a sua fonte de inspiração para escrever livros comoventes que invariavelmente conquistam o público. A Presença publicou, desta autora, Infância Perdida, Quero a Minha Mãe e A Menina Mais Triste do Mundo.
