Catarina Nunes de Almeida nasceu em Lisboa em 1982. Desde a infância conheceu o fascínio pelo Teatro e pela Literatura, passando por vários cursos e ateliers criativos. Em 2005 concluiu o curso de Língua e Cultura Portuguesa na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. Em março de 2006 recebeu o Prémio Internacional de Poesia Castello di Duino, em Triste, Itália. Dedica atualmente grande parte do seu tempo a projetos ligados à escrita, com participação em alguns festivais internacionais de poesia e publicação em revistas literárias.
