Catarina Gomes

Catarina Gomes nasceu no início da década de 80 e vive no Porto. Estudou Design de Comunicação na FBAUP e mais tarde Ilustração e Animação no IPCA. O seu interesse pela ilustração surgiu em 2004 quando esteve em Bratislava, influenciada pelas exposições que viu, os álbuns ilustrados que comprou e pelo tempo livre que teve para experimentar novas técnicas enquanto contava as peripécias que por lá aconteciam. Desde 2013 trabalha como designer e ilustradora, e também dá aulas.
Além disso, gosta de coisas velhas, flores secas em jarras, sol e frio juntos no mesmo dia, pêra com broa e maçã com queijo, desenhar à vista, restaurantes com toalhas de papel, anotar as coisas que a filha lhe diz (@ascoisasqueeladiz) e, como quase toda a gente, «comer, beber e passear na rua»!
