Nasceu em Braga em 1978. Frequentou o curso superior de Direito, na Universidade do Minho, em 1996/97, curso esse que trocou, no mesmo ano, pelo curso de Ensino de Português e Inglês. Mais tarde, tirou uma nova licenciatura na área da educação e uma pós-graduação em Administração e Organização Escolar na Universidade Católica. Iniciou a sua atividade enquanto escritora, escrevendo contos infantis para os seus alunos. Em 2016, estreou-se com o seu primeiro romance "Terra". Avança depois com o segundo romance "Sakura - A um Passo do Céu".
