(Salir de Matos, Caldas, 1956) divide-se entre a vida profissional dedicada à justiça na qualidade de juiz desembargador, tendo passado por numerosas comarcas, de Peniche a Coimbra, de Torres Vedras ao Porto, e a paixão pela História, que deu já origem a dois pequenos volumes: Salir d'Outrora (PH – Estudos e Documentos, 2007), sobre o Mosteiro de Alcobaça, e Praça da Fruta (Corrida de Letras, 2009), sobre aquela praça nas Caldas da Rainha.
Publicou recentemente Insanus (abysmo), depois de ter dado à estampa, Príncipe Perfeito – Rei Pelicano, Coruja e Falcão, e a Redenção das Águas (ambos na Arranha-céus).
