Carlos M. Duarte

Carlos Manuel da Silva Duarte nasceu em Barcelos, a 9 de outubro de 1942. Viveu e estudou em Coimbra e no Porto, terminando o Curso de Engenharia Química na Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto. Em Nova Lisboa, Angola, frequentou o Curso de Oficiais Milicianos na Escola de Aplicação Militar e no Grupo de Artilharia de Campanha. Trabalhou ainda na função pública, entre Angola e Portugal, desde a Universidade de Luanda, ao Instituto de Desenvolvimento Industrial de Angola, Complexo Industrial do Cachão e Direção Geral da Indústria. Ao nível privado, trabalhou na Renault, CUF Têxteis e Grupo Secil.
