Carlos Couto Amaral

Carlos Alfredo Couto Amaral was born in Mangualde in 1960.
Degree in Philosophy.
Teacher at Daniel Sampaio School (Sobreda de Caparica).
Master in Nietzsche's Aesthetics.
Director and playwright, he wrote (G)Estação dos Afetos; O Meu Fado muito mais que uma pirosa estória de amor, 2013 (Edition in partnership with José Teixeira and Xico Braga), brought to the stage by gitt.
He has published poetry: A Sombra dos Momentos Feliz (Colibri Editions, 2000); Serene Flow of Hours (Colibri Editions, 2004); Desflorar da Flor de Sal (Minerva Editora, 2010); Descending Climber (Colibri Editions, 2016).
At the meetings of Galician and Portuguese peace teachers, he guided a creative writing workshop (2013 to 2015).
