Carlos Correia da Fonseca

Carlos Correia Fonseca nasceu em Setúbal em 1948 e licenciou-se em Economia pelo Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão, onde também deu aulas durante 15 anos. Como economista especializado em transportes trabalhou para o Banco Mundial em vários países africanos, em especial em Cabo Verde, cujo desenvolvimento acompanhou e no qual participou desde pouco depois da independência. Tem publicado artigos técnicos em revistas académicas e efetuado conferências sempre na área dos transportes, ambiente, energia e urbanismo. Foi Secretário de Estado dos Transportes no XVIII Governo de Portugal.
