Carlos Calhaz Jorge

Médico Doutorado em Medicina – Ginecologia. Professor Catedrático Jubilado de Obstetrícia e Ginecologia da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa. Foi Diretor do Departamento de Obstetrícia, Ginecologia e Medicina da Reprodução do Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Lisboa Norte, EPE (CHLN). Dedicou a sua atividade profissional à Medicina da Reprodução, tendo sido responsável pela Unidade de Medicina da Reprodução do CHLN. Desempenhou funções de Presidente da Sociedade Portuguesa de Medicina da Reprodução, de Presidente do Colégio da subespecialidade de Medicina da Reprodução da Ordem dos Médicos e, recentemente, de Presidente da Sociedade Europeia de Reprodução Humana e Embriologia. É membro do Conselho Nacional de Procriação Medicamente Assistida.
