Carla Nazareth nasceu no ano de 1975, em Moçambique. Viveu grande parte da sua vida em Coimbra, mas reside em Lisboa desde 1993. É licenciada em Design de Comunicação pela Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa, cidade da qual guarda a luz que reflecte as cores, as oportunidades oferecidas e as coisas que acontecem. Trabalha desde 1998 como designer de comunicação e, a partir de 2001, inicia a sua actividade como ilustradora infantil.
