Camille de Peretti nasceu em 1980, em Paris. Estudou numa escola bilingue francês-inglês, e, mais tarde, na ESSEC Business School. Foi aprendiz de análise financeira num banco de investimentos em Singapura, professora de cozinha francesa na televisão japonesa num programa chamado A Cozinha de Camille e, depois de obter o diploma, inscreveu-se no Cours Florent, famosa escola de teatro, e criou uma empresa de eventos.
Apaixonada por pintura e literatura, dedica-se à escrita desde 2005.
É autora de nove romances, entre os quais Thornytorinx (2005; Prix du Premier Roman de Chambéry), Le Sang des Mirabelles (2019) e o multipremiado A Desconhecida do Retrato (2024).
