Bianca Parrilla
Bianca Parrilla is a young woman born in Germany with several dreams, one of which is to write children's books. She completed all her schooling, up to the twelfth grade, in a small town near Dortmund. When she entered the eighth grade, she had to choose which field she wanted to pursue. She was certain she wanted to work with children. After finishing school, she did internships in several daycare centers, where her work was highly valued by her colleagues and employers... She ended up taking a course to become an Early Childhood Educator and worked in that field for several years.
From a young age, Bianca had a very strong connection with Portugal and dreamed of one day going there, a country she loves. This was because of all her family who live there, especially her grandparents. The day came for her to pack her bags and go to Portugal. It wasn't easy leaving her parents and brother in Germany, but that's life; you have to fight for your dreams. She was welcomed with open arms by her family and felt she had made the right decision. Now, Bianca lives in a small village in the municipality of Vila Nova de Poiares. Since she had free time and also had family members who had edited books—her father and grandfather—Bianca decided to take matters into her own hands and write a story herself, inspired by a children's song.
