Bento Baloi

Bento Baloi nasceu em 1968 no Vieira, um bairro de lata dos subúrbios da cidade de Maputo. É jornalista há 30 anos. Dedicou parte significativa da sua carreira ao teatro escrevendo, dirigindo e interpretando papéis em peças, tanto de palco como de rádio. Estreou-se no romance com «Recados da Alma» em 2016 (Ideia-Fixa). A sua obra seguinte, No Verso da Cicatriz (Ideia-Fixa) conquistou a primeira edição do Prémio Mia Couto para o melhor romance moçambicano publicado em 2021.
