Nascido em França, Benjamin Benéteau passa a sua infância e adolescência no Taiti, na Polinésia Francesa, tendo-se depois instalado na Bélgica, a partir de 2002, para frequentar a École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc. Ainda recém-diplomado, desenvolve um primeiro projeto de BD, ao mesmo tempo que Mathieu Reynès o convida para assinar os cenários de um arrojado "thriller" intitulado Alter Ego. Assume agora a criação dos novos Vaillante e o design dos cenários da nova temporada da série Michel Vaillant.
