Ben Ambridge, doutorado em psicologia, é professor da Universidade de Liverpool, especialista no desenvolvimento da linguagem nas crianças. Escreveu cerca de quarenta artigos para revistas científicas e trabalhos coletivos, um dos quais foi selecionado para o Prémio Wellcome Trust de Melhor Artigo Científico de 2012, concedido em colaboração com os jornais Guardian e Observer.
