Beatriz Della Costa

Beatriz Della Costa is a social scientist, co-founder and director of the Institute. Update, a non-profit civil society organization that studies and promotes political innovation in Latin America. In 2020, it created the project Elected: women in politics (www.eleitas.org.br), which mapped more than 600 women and interviewed more than 100 to show how they are transforming politics, society and democracy in Latin America.
