No percurso intermitente entre as atividades de empresária da cortiça - de raiz, artesã, comerciante, agente comercial e autodidata - revê-se, acima de tudo, como espetadora do Mundo, amante das Artes e Mulher de Família. Escreve sob o pseudónimo de Beatriz Brandão.
