Barbara Abdeni Massaad é redatora de culinária, apresentadora de televisão, autora de livros de culinária e cronista regular de revistas de cozinha internacionais.
Entre as suas obras publicadas, encontram-se Man’oushe: Inside the Lebanese Street Corner Bakery e Mouneh: Preserving Foods for the Lebanese Pantry, que recebeu o Gourmand Cookbook Award e o International Academy of Gastronomy Award.
É membro-fundadora da Slow Food Beirut e participa ativamente no movimento International Slow Food.
Vive em Beirute com o marido e três filhos.
