Ayesha L. Rubio

Ayesha L. Rubio nasceu em Madrid, Espanha, numa fria noite de fevereiro.
Tal como muitas outras crianças, adorava desenhar. Infelizmente para a sua família, qualquer superfície servia de tela em branco. Um dia, o avô ensinou-a a desenhar cavalos e a escolher papel — em vez de móveis ou paredes — como material mais adequado para desenhar.
Anos mais tarde, estudou Belas-Artes em Espanha e em Inglaterra e começou a trabalhar como ilustradora e escritora, colaborando com editoras de todo o mundo.
Com um espírito nómada, viveu em Espanha, no Reino Unido e nos Estados Unidos, e passou também algum tempo no México e na Finlândia.
Atualmente, tem três livros da sua autoria, traduzidos para várias línguas, e colaborou em muitos outros. Mais recentemente, tem feito algumas incursões no mundo da animação.
