Ariel Álvarez Valdés

Ariel Álvarez Valdés (Santiago del Estero, Argentina, 1957) é um teólogo argentino e estudioso da Bíblia, formado em Teologia Bíblica pela Faculdade Bíblica Franciscana de Jerusalém e doutor em Teologia Bíblica pela Pontifícia Universidade de Salamanca.

Foi professor de Sagrada Escritura em vários seminários diocesanos e universidades na Argentina e fez numerosas viagens acadêmicas a Israel, Jordânia, Egito, Turquia ou Grécia. Em 1996 foi incorporado à Associação Bíblica Italiana e sucessivamente nomeado membro honorário do Instituto de Filosofia do Direito da Universidade de Lomas de Zamora, membro da Associação Bíblica Espanhola, membro da Academia de Ciências e Arte de Santiago del Estero , e membro da Associação Bíblica Argentina.
