António Oliveira e Castro

António Castro nasceu em Angola, no Bongo Lépi, em 1951. Entre 1969 e 1971 publicou alguns contos no jornal ABC de Angola, um dos quais foi premiado pela Câmara Municipal de Luanda. Publicou o livro de poesia Eu, a minha terra e a minha gente. Em 1974, publicou Canções clandestinas da revolta latente (poesia). Livros do autor publicados em Portugal: Houve mesmo um Dia de Desespero em Que Se Cultivaram Campos de Cicuta (1985, Caminho – poesia); As Planícies donde Vim (1987, Caminho – poesia); A Especiaria (2007, Guerra e Paz – romance); Tambwe – A Unha do Leão (2011, Gradiva - romance); Coleccionadores de Sonhos (2017, Gradiva - romance). Coleccionadores de Sonhos foi semifinalista do Prémio Oceanos 2018.
