António MR Martins

António MR Martins was born in Lisbon on November 27, 1955, and resides in Ansião, Leiria district. He has published ten books. "Being a Poet" and "Almost Feminine", 2009, "Foz Sentida", 2010, "Waters of Tenderness", "Mask of Light", 2011, "Margin of Being", 2014, "De Soslaio", 2015, "Severe Fate", "minimum" series (a hand-manufactured edition), 2015 and "Door Half Open", "minimal" series (a hand-manufactured edition), 2016 and "Lend me the floor", 2016. "Time also burns" This is his eleventh work. As a preface writer for several works, he has presented numerous books by different authors and has received several literary awards. He has participated in various anthologies, under a wide variety of publishing houses. He was a jury member for the II Poetry Contest of the DRACA Cultural Association (Palmela), in 2012. He collaborates with some regional press. Some of his poems have been translated into Spanish, English, Romanian, and Chinese. He coordinated the first Anthology of Portuguese Poets in Romania. Bibliotheca Universalis, launched in January 2017. Participated in the 6th Macau Literary Festival – Route of Letters 2017. Honored by the group Wings of Poetry, at the Maia Municipal Library, in a poetry gathering, 2017. Participated in the 1st Meeting of Authors from the North of the Leiria District, at the Alvaiázere Municipal Library, 2017. Participated in Poetry Magazine 2018Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
