António Marto

Dom António Marto é doutorado em Teologia pela Pontifícia Universidade Gregoriana. Foi Diretor-Adjunto da Faculdade de Teologia do Centro Regional do Porto da Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Eleito Bispo, foi primeiro Bispo-Auxiliar de Braga, e depois nomeado Bispo de Viseu. Desde 2006, preside à Diocese de Leiria-Fátima. Tem desempenhado funções de relevo na Conferência Episcopal Portuguesa. Autor de inúmeras conferências e comunicações, o seu perfil de bispo-teólogo granjeia-lhe um justo reconhecimento, nacional e internacional.
