António Martins Matos

António Martins de Matos nasceu em Lisboa a 3 de novembro 1945. A sua vida profissional foi sempre dedicada à Aviação Militar. Entre 1972 e 1974, efetuou uma Comissão de Serviço na Guiné. Com a passagem à reforma, começou por escrever alguns artigos de caráter militar para uma ou outra revista da especialidade. Mais tarde, veio a publicar um livro relatando a sua experiência como piloto de combate durante a sua passagem por África. Deu-lhe o título: Voando sobre um Ninho de Strelas. É casado com a Maria Fernanda e tem dois filhos, o Bernardo e a Teresa.
