António Mário Vieira

António Mário Teixeira Vieira was born in Arco de Baúlhe on June 2, 1953, the eighth of nine children. He began helping his parents with agricultural work alongside his schooling. At the age of 14, he moved to Porto to live with some uncles. He soon began working as an apprentice locksmith and later joined the postal service (CTT), where he worked until his retirement. Alongside his work at CTT, he continued his studies at night at the Infante D. Henrique Industrial School. He was always involved in associative and trade union movements. He has been retired since 2011.
