António Cabral

António Cabral nasceu em fevereiro de 1950, na cidade de Lourenço Marques, Moçambique. Em 1980 veio para Portugal e vive atualmente em São Brás de Alportel. A pedido de seu pai contribuiu com várias entradas sobre moçambicanismos, calão, gíria, expressões idiomáticas..., no livro 'Pequeno Dicionário de Moçambique'. Esteve ligado ao ramo de turismo até 2004. Atualmente escreve para o jornal regional "Notícias de São Braz", assinando a rubrica "Olhar a Toponímia". É casado com a Zélia e tem dois filhos, Filomena e António.
