Antón Pombo (Corunha), Doutor em História Contemporânea pela USC, é um dos maiores especialistas e investigadores sobre as rotas jacobeias a Santiago de Compostela.
Coordenador da editorial Anaya para o Guia do Caminho de Santiago, é autor ou coautor de 12 livros relacionados com o Caminho.
Fundou e presidiu durante oito anos a Asociación Galega de Amigos do Camiño de Santiago.
